He was predeceased by: his father William Dennis Thornton. He is survived by: his mother Cathy Moore; his wife April Norman Thornton; his children, Timothy Gunter, Kaylee Thornton (Jordan), Andrew Thornton (Mikaela), Izzibella Noah, Keyln, Katie and Dominique Grindstaff; and his grandchildren, Caleb, Caden Gunter, Charlie, Lilly Houser, Carter and Peyton Wray. He is also survived by three sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090, USA 28042). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
