It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Short (Casar, North Carolina), who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Willis Stone and Flora Mae Porter Stone; and her husband Ronnie Short. She is survived by: her daughters, Dora Turner of Casar, Karen Puckett of Greer, SC and Ladonna LaCaze of Duson, Louisiana; her siblings, Edgar Stone of South Carolina and Mary Lou Powell of South Carolina; and her grandchildren, Brandon, Tiffany, Sabrina, Erica, Jessica, Dalton and Drew. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
