He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Dwain Parker, Tammy Parker (Mike), Mary Moore and David Smith (Megan); his siblings, Delbert Parker, Claman Parker and Margaret Willis; and his grandchildren, Taylor Parker Dunn, Chloe Parker, Alivia, Charlie, Tyler Smith, Josh, Brandon and Ashley Fortenberry. He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home (846 E Stage Coach Trail, Lawndale, NC 28090). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Paul Baptist Church (337 Hull Rd, Casar, NC 28020).
