He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Kermit Boyette and Maudie Murphy Boyette; his wife Ann Hocutt Boyette; and his brothers, Dave Boyette and Eugene Boyette.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mildred B. Moody of Wake Forest, Mamie B. Eason of Garner, Phyllis B. Stanley (Clarence) of Garner, Larry Boyette of Smithfield and Joseph Boyette of Cary. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
