She is survived by: her sons, Tim Olmsted of Cary and Mark Louden of Raleigh; her grandsons, John "JT" Desern of Indianapolis, IN and Kyle Desern of Northern California; her great grandchildren, Jake and Vera Kate Desern of Indianapolis, IN; and her brother Richard Piper of Sunset, UT. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
