It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thurman Eugene Cogdell (Cary, North Carolina), who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his mother Irene Stroupe; his stepfather Plato Stroupe; and his half-brother Robert Cline. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Moore Cogdell; his stepdaughter Amy Marcus; and his half-brother Hunter Stroupe (Dora).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of one's choice in memory of Thurman.
