Thomas Stephen Toomey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2023, at the age of 85, Thomas Stephen Toomey of Cary, North Carolina, born in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Houston Toomey and Mary Lou Toomey Savel (Austin); his stepfather Martin J. Savel; and his sisters, Bettye J. Schumacher and Nancy L. Norris.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jane Toomey (Randels); his son Brian; his daughter-in-law Allison Toomey; his granddaughters, Della Austin Toomey of Apex and Caroline Essex Toomey of Apex; his sister Sandra L. Williams (Jim) of Arizona; and his sister-in-law Edith M. Rich (Peter) of New Jersey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
