He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Henry Banks and Bernetta Banks; his wife Faye Deal Banks (Sue); his children, John Edward Banks (Lou Ann Lyon) of Capitola, CA and Jennifer Banks Sasser (Gerry Sasser) of Fuquay Varina, NC; his granddaughters, Samantha Banks, Africa, Emilie Banks, Paris and France; and his sisters, Carolyn Banks Wilfong (Marvin) of Maiden, NC, Brenda Banks Cooley (Steve) of Murfreesboro, TN and Margaret Banks Moore (Mike) of Maiden, NC. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
