Thomas Alvin Farr Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2024, at the age of 69, Thomas Alvin Farr (Cary, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his brother John Farr (Mary Lou); his wife Ann Robinson Farr; his children, Grace, John David, Robert, William and Craig; and his pets, Sandy, Lucy, Charlie, English Cocker Spaniel and Stonewall Jackson.

Tom's significant contributions to litigation, appellate practice, and legal strategies were recognized through his nominations to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina by Presidents George W. Bush and Donald Trump. In remembrance of Tom's generous nature and commitment to community support, the family suggests that donations be made to the Durham Rescue Mission, Tower 2 Tunnels, or a charity of personal choice, in lieu of flowers.
