She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Merle Knight and Mary Jo Thomas Knight; her stepdaughter Theresa Brogden; and her siblings, Lois Graves, Mary Ann Knight and John Wayne Knight.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Sumrall; her children, Rhonda Zarkis (Jamie) of Montrose, CO, Stephanie Currin (Matt) of Angier and Justin Sumrall of Angier; her siblings, Shirley Brooks (Danny) of Franklinton, LA, Norman Knight (Cheryl) of Walker, LA, David Knight of Abita Springs, LA, Ricky Knight (Kim) of Franklinton, LA and Jessie Merle Knight, Jr. (Tammy) of Franklinton, LA; and her grandchildren, Anna Zarkis, Nicole Zarkis, Savannah Sumrall, Candassey Sumrall, Adam Brogden and Jeremy Brogden.
