He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Danielle; his daughter Sophia Nicole; his parents, George Burkett and Lydia Fishbaugh; and his siblings, George, Richard and Nina. He was also cherished by twelve nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Wake Memorial Park (7002 Green Hope School Rd, Cary, NC 27519).
