It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen William Kenkel (Cary, North Carolina), born in Ames, Iowa, who passed away on December 24, 2019, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Francis and Marion Scott Kenkel. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Travers; his sons, Samuel and John; and his siblings, Phillip (Evelyn Quillen) of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Donald (Delia) of Ithaca, Kenneth (Joan) of Union, Kentucky and Kathryn (George Bravo) of Marina, California..

Donations in Steve's memory are suggested to the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke or the ALS Association- North Carolina Chapter.
