She was predeceased by: her husband John Edward Watts. She is survived by: her daughter Jennifer Derrick; and her son-in-law Jimmy Derrick. She is also survived by two nephews and two nieces.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612).
