She was predeceased by: her parents, J. J. Burns and Minnie Burns. She is survived by: her husband William Corey; and her children, Kitley Rainwater of LaPlata, Charles Corey of Chattanooga, TN, Taylor Corey of Cary, NC and Geoffrey Corey of Fuquay-Varina, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations by be made in her name to the SPCA of Wake County, 200 Pet Finder Lane, Raleigh NC 27603.
