Ronald Allan Lochbaum Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Allan Lochbaum (Cary, North Carolina), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 3, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Jane Frashure; his son Mark Allan Lochbaum; and his father Herbert. He is survived by: his brother Bob Lochbaum; his sister-in-law Sue Merrill (Ron); his nephews, Steve (Cindy) and Andy Lochbaum; his grandchildren, James Lochbaum (Rojina), Anna Matheney (Matthew), Katherine Lochbaum, Marshall Lochbaum, Christian Lochbaum (Becca) and Richard Lochbaum (Nina); and his great grandchildren, Aasha and Rosa Lochbaum. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Contributions in lieu of flowers can be made in Ron's name to the Salvation Army, a favorite charity of his father's dating back to the days of the Great Depression and in turn, a favorite of Ron's that he supported throughout his life.
