It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Louis Leeson Jr. of Cary, North Carolina, born in Crawfordsville, Indiana, who passed away on February 1, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Louis and Lois Alice Leeson of Crawfordsville; and his brother-in-law Richard Wyatt of Holdrege. He is survived by: his son Connor Leeson (Carrie) of Richmond, VA; his close friend Kelly Byrnes of Wake Forest, NC; his sisters, Elain Dahl (David) of Washington, IN, Wendy Wyatt of Holdrege, NE and Amy Leeson of Washington; his nephews, Nicholas Dahl (Katie) of Washington and Alex Wyatt (Ashley) of Holdrege; and his niece Erin Fox (Tim) of Washington.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bright Funeral Home Chapel (405 S Main St, Wake Forest, NC 27587).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to either Tour de Cure: North Carolina or North Carolina Friends of State Parks, to honor Roger's love of biking, nature, and sustainability.
