He is survived by: his wife Linda Liming; his sons, Roger Liming Jr (Lori) of Cary, NC. and Douglas Liming (Brennan) of Cary, NC.; his grandchildren, Lyndsey (Tom), Addie, Luke and Chase; his great grandchild Laela; his brothers, Russell Dean (Martha), Raymond Dwight (Alice) and Roy David (Susan); his sister-in-law Sondra Edger (Larry); his sons, Allen Edger (Paula) and Brent Edger (Amy); and his significant other Martin Brakefield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity Foundation in honor of his love for making a house a home.
