He was predeceased by: his parents, John Flaherty and Julia Flaherty; his wife Jean Marie Deecher; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his children, Bob Jr. (Sarah), Mary Julia Heidepriem (Eric), Ann Marie Flaherty, Maureen Maughan (Kevin), Tim (Julia) and Kathleen Cardoso (Cid); his grandchildren, Bridget Flaherty Shelton (Blake), Connor Flaherty, Leah Heidepriem, Amelia, Ava Maughan, Owen Flaherty, Alexa, Scott and Monica Cardoso; and his sisters, Marilyn Vansteenburg and Joan Blomstran. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren.
