It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Allyn Reinert (Cary, North Carolina), born in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Reinert and Evelyn Reinert (Huppert); his wife Patricia Reinert (Pat); his children, Karen Helm (Todd) of Winston Salem, NC, Kathy Reinert of Cary, NC and Kevin Reinert (Amie) of Fuquay Varina, NC.; his grandchildren, Patrick Parrish, Kristin Clark (Kyle), Tiffany Robison (Brian), Ashley Parrish, Benjamin Helm (Chloe), Bethany Helm, Esther Helm, Jackson Reinert and Avery Reinert; and his sisters, Joan Button (Allan) of St. Paul, MN, Ann Lunde of Ayden, NC and Sally Kumbier (Larry) of Garland, TX. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be given in Richard's memory to Hayes Barton Baptist Church (1800 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27608) to fund three mission service groups that Richard Reinert supported.
