We are sad to announce that on December 27, 2021, at the age of 94, Reba Gardner Pollard of Cary, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Levy D. Gardner and Emily Edmondson Gardner; her husband John S. Pollard; and her brothers, William Hilton Gardner, Larry Mance Gardner, Lindsay D. Gardner and Calvin Thomas Gardner.
She is survived by: her daughter Jeanette P. Cain (Harry Cain) of Cary, NC; her grandchildren, John Wesley Cain (Irina) of Cambridge, Mass. and Kristy Hwang (Roger) of Cary, NC; her great grandchildren, Iris Cain and Amelia Hwang; her sisters, Marie Brown of Wilson, NC, Nettie Gardner of Wilson, NC, Sue Harrell of Fountain, NC and Ann Cooper of Rocky Mount, NC; her sister-in-law Carol Gardner of Kinston, NC; and her cousin Ruth Edwards of Raleigh, NC.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
