He was predeceased by: his son Dwight Allen Forrest of Wilson; his brothers, James Earl Forrest and Robert Sylvester Forrest (Bobby); his granddaughter Constance Noel Palmer; and his son-in-law Bruce Allen Bullock.
He is survived by: his wife Mavis Pollard Forrest; and his daughters, Connie Raye Forrest of Cary and Sandra Forrest Bullock of Greenville. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Pinewood Memorial Park (4150 E 10th St, Greenville, NC 27858).
