He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Campbell and Thelma Campbell; his brother James (Jim); his sister-in-law Patty Coleman of Indiana; his sister Susie Meek of South Carolina; his stepdaughter Kellie Hahn of North Carolina; and his grandson Jarred Coleman of Michigan.

He is survived by: his wife Claudia Campbell; his children, Audra Campbell (Shan) of Dallas, TX and Ralph "Cody" Campbell (Christina) of Raleigh, NC; his stepson Ronnie Coleman (Kelly) of Michigan; and his siblings, Greg Campbell (Gayle), Tim Campbell (Chris) and Cindy Foreman (Jim). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
