We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2023, at the age of 87, Peggie Harward Lewter of Cary, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Harward and Ruby Harward (Carpenter); her husband Grover Lewter; her friend Sandy Blackwell; and her siblings, Patricia Mitchell and Lewis Harward. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great-nephew.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in memory of Peggie to the Good Hope Baptist Church Building Fund.
