It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Katherine Garner of Cary, North Carolina, born in Lilesville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 11, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Franklin Clark and Annie Elizabeth Clark; her husband Richard Levin Garner; and her daughter Julia Elizabeth Garner Gaylon. She is survived by: her sons, Rick Garner (Linda) of Cary, NC, Eddie Garner (Donna) of Beaufort, NC, John Garner (Mona) of Warminster, PA and James Garner (Hazelle) of Hope Mills, NC; and her brother Danny Avery (Donna) of Zebulon, NC. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
However, in order to provide social distancing, we ask friends to remain in their cars, the service will be broadcasted through a sound system.
