It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Lewis Beal (Cary, North Carolina), who passed away on October 13, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph M. Beal and Ollie Horton; and his siblings, Ruth Smith, Myrtle Yates, Earl, Hersal, Edwin and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his friends, Belgium, France, Germany and Spain; his son Braimon (Wanda); his sister Gaynelle Shaw; his granddaughter Allison Shipp (Julian); and his great grandchildren, Ciaran, Addie, Gabriel and Oakley Shipp (Emily Partin Beal). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests a memorial contribution be made in Melvin's honor to Transitions Lifecare in Raleigh, NC.
