It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melinda Ayscue Smith of Cary, North Carolina, born in Henderson, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brooks Ayscue and Marian Ayscue. She is survived by: her husband Larry Smith; her children, Kyle Smith (Jenn) and Jomarie Zon (Michael); her grandchildren, Caroline, Brooks, Layla and Leo; her sister Marilyn Pridgen; and her nephews, Allan and Brian Daniel.
