We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, at the age of 79, Max Rupert Peterson Jr. (Cary, North Carolina), born in Clinton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Rupert and Mary Lillie Peterson; his wife Bonnie Farrell Peterson; and his sisters, Nellie Gray "Nell" Barkley and Maxine Peterson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Karen Peterson Sherin (Kenneth Mark Sherin) of Asheboro, NC and Kathryn Hope Mathews (Jason Michael Mathews) of Summerfield, NC; his grandchildren, Matthew Grayson Sherin, Steven Grace Elizabeth Mathews, Isabelle Hope Mathews, Caleb Andrew Sherin and Peter Joseph Mathews; and his sister Mary Dieker of Chicago, IL.. He is also survived by many loving friends and family members in both his family.
