With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Joyce Thimsen of Cary, North Carolina, born in Riverside, California, who passed away on August 27, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Anna (Holm) and William Jackson Youngblood; her husband Paul; her son Steven Paul; and her siblings, Patricia King and James Youngblood.

She is survived by: her children, Bob Thimsen (Pam) and Linda Fredericks (Jerry); and her grandchildren, Amy Neithercut (Adam), Joel Thimsen (Jenn), Steven Thimsen (Dawn) and Jonathan Fredericks. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
