She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Mildred (Glover) and Julius Brodie Breeland; her husband Colonel Michael Mosteller Sr.; her daughter Patricia Johnson (Pat); and her siblings, Julius Brodie Breeland, Jr., Samuel Glover Breeland and Mary Jean Breeland.

She is survived by: her son Michael Mosteller Jr. (Janis); her grandchildren, Corrie Bitsas, Mary Tennant, Esther Futrell and Anne Mosteller; her son-in-law Sam Johnson; her grandchildren, Drew Johnson, Amy Turnblazer and Tori Burnett; and her great grandchildren, Sam, Hampton, Will, Ellie (Jason) of Amy, Charlie, Lucy, Meg, Hope (Charles) of Tori, John, Michael, Anna Claire (John) of Corrie, Bonnie, Elijah (Ben) of Mary, Liam, Everett, Joanna, Sydney, Othelia and Orestes (Jonathan) of Esther.
