She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Schlickenrieder and Virginia Schlickenrieder; her significant other John "Sully" Sullivan; her brother Warren Schlickenrieder; and her brother-in-law John Cox, Sr..

She is survived by: her sisters, Lauren Cox-Fazio (Frank) and Lee Edwards (Robert); her nephews, Robert Edwards, John Cox, Jr. and Kyle Cox (Alyssa); her great-nephew Cameron Cox; and her great-niece Marley Cox.

The family requests that memorial donations be made in Lynn's honor to the Durham Lion's Club, 1850 Hillandale Road, Durham, NC 27705.
