She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Alfred Harrison; her parents, Lena Hathaway and David Hathaway; her children, George Harrison (Jimmie) of Johnsonville, SC, Mitchell Harrison (Candice) of Raleigh, Barbara Hall of Cary, NC, Joseph Harrison (Stephanie Harrison) of Fuquay Varina and Penny Sears (Brian Sears) of Apex, NC; and her grandchildren, Lisa Renko (Dave), Chris Harrison (Jennifer), Steven Hall (Dana), Jeffery Hall (Stephanie), Chad Harrison, Brittany Klooz (Brett), Savannah Harrison, Lyla Beth Harrison, Jacob Sears, Laney Sears (Chris), Benjamin Sears and Michael Harrison. She was also cherished by Her children, in laws, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I actually went to make a copy of a picture of flowers I put on Kay's grave to send to her in a Christmas card as I try to do each year when I saw she had passed. She was such a wonderful, caring woman who loved her family with all her heart. She was so proud of each of you. While I had not seen her the past few years, I will never forget our short annual meetings this time of year. I pray you will all cherish the wonderful memories of her life.”
