With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Smith Faulkner (Cary, North Carolina), born in Enfield, North Carolina, who passed away on August 30, 2021 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Louise Smith Faulkner to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam W. Smith, Sr. and Nellie Mae Chichester Smith; and her sister Frances Palma. She is survived by: her husband Henry L. "Lew" Faulkner, Jr.; her sons, Bruce (Cherie) of Raleigh and Scott (Carolyn) of Holly Springs; her granddaughters, Gail, Rebekah and Louise; and her brothers, Clifton Smith, Sam Smith, Jr., Linwood Smith, Fred Smith, Marvin Smith and Robert Smith.

She particularly enjoyed playing bingo four to five times per week before the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions.

In lieu of flowers, Louise asked that memorial contributions be made to one of the following organizations: Enfield Baptist Church of Enfield, NC or Greenwood Forest Baptist Church (Organ Fund or General Fund) of Cary, NC.
