We are sad to announce that on November 10, 2020, at the age of 66, Lautaro Gabriel Perez (Cary, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lautaro Gabriel Perez Gomez and Graciela. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Suarez; his daughters, Carolina, Amanda and Gabriela; and his sister Mildred Perez.

Most recently, Dr. Perez postponed his planned July retirement to assist in the rapid development of a specialized technology needed to facilitate FDA approval of effective COVID-19 vaccines.
