Larry Shipp Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Shipp of Cary, North Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Allen and Sallie Bass Shipp of Clinton. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Partin-Shipp; his stepdaughter Laura Couch (Brandon); his children, Brayden, Cameron of Pittsboro, NC and Joanna Morgan (Mike); his grandchildren, Reagan, Reese and Rivers of Myrtle Beach, SC; his stepson Richard White (Jenna); his son James of Raleigh, NC.; and his siblings, Josephine Clifton (Vernon) of Clinton, June McLemore (Norbert) of Clinton and Melvin "Biscuit" Shipp (Gaynelle) of Clinton.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Royal-Hall Funeral Home Chapel (301 McKoy St, Clinton, NC 28328). Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the same location.
