He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edison Sexton and Ann Juanita Cooke Sexton of Enfield; and his wife Rosamond. He is survived by: his children, Rev. Bryan Sexton, Jr. (Pattie) of Goldsboro, Rosamond Edna Sexton of Raleigh and Martha-Duke Ormond (Herb) of Greenville; his grandchildren, Felt Hairr (Janice), Meredith Groves (Marshall), Rose Watson-Ormond (Kemp), Catherine Lukacs-Ormond (Andy), Anna Shelton-Ormond (Charlie), Anna Megan Smith (Henrik) and Bryan Sexton, III; his great grandchildren, Katie Groves, Michael Groves, Audrey Hairr, Savannah Hairr, Levin Watson-Ormond, Elowen Watson-Ormond and Madeline Smith; his sisters-in-law, Onita Sexton, Cotty Potter and Anna Benson; his cousin Martha Potter; and his friends, Ruby Norris and Marlene Huff. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 2 nephews and their spouses and children.
