It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Wayne Manning (Cary, North Carolina), born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Van Manning and Ruth Mayard Manning; and his brothers, Owen, Larry, Dennis and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Lynn Wilson; his children, Stephanie (Michael) and Brian (Charlotte); his grandchildren, Brayden and Clara; his siblings, James F. Manning, Sr. and Donna Barnett; and his nieces, Joy Endreshak, Cindy Wheeler, Ainsley Manning, Alysha Manning and Shelbi Stockdale.
Due to the current pandemic, his family has chosen to hold a celebration of Jerry's life at a later date. Once the Covid-19 conditions improve and traveling becomes safer, we will be sending out notices for a gathering in the Houston, Texas area.
In keeping with this tradition, the family requests no flowers, but rather a donation in his name made to Camp Carefree in Stokesdale, NC.
