She was predeceased by: her parents, Norbert A'Hearn and Theresa A'Hearn; and her brothers, Patrick A'Hearn and Joseph A'Hearn. She is survived by: her husband Dean R. Prestemon of Cary; her siblings, Michael A'Hearn of Waukon, Iowa and Mary Smith of Las Vegas, Nevada.; and her children, Gregory Prestemon (Mary Prestemon) of Kirkwood, Missouri, Lisa Eberhart (Paul Eberhart) of Cary, Shelley Seasly (James Seasly) of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Jeffrey Prestemon (Heidi Prestemon) of Cary, Julie Laske (Les Laske) of Cary and Steven Prestemon (Jene Park) of West Hollywood, California. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A prayer was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Brown Wynne Funeral Home (200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511).
