He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Abraham and Elma Abraham; his son James Daniel Abraham Jr. (Sheri) of Apex, NC; his brother Leo Abraham, Jr.; and his parents-in-law, Charles "Buddy" and Christine Hampton.

He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hampton Abraham; his sons, Chad (Tiffany) of Fuquay-Varina, NC and Brad (Sabrina) of Fuquay-Varina, NC; his grandchildren, Kayla, Natalie, Hudson, Addison, Tucker, Kenzi and Anja; his siblings, Raymond Abraham (Beverly), John Abraham, David Abraham (Beth), Dean Abraham and Laura Gorum; his brother-in-law Todd Hampton (Christina); his cousin Jonathan Rhodes (Tina); his godchildren, Christopher Hampton (Madison), Brooklyn (Quinn Nolan), Stephanie (Aaron Castaneda) and Jessica (Dakota Hudson); and his nephews, Christopher Gorum, Casey Gorum and Drew Abraham. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
