With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jacqueline (Jackie) Pittman Deaton of Cary, North Carolina, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on October 4, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Temple Pittman and Dorothy Smith Pittman; and her sister Ann Temple Pittman Whittington. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Pleasant Paul Deaton of Cary; and her children, David Wayne Deaton of Longmeadow, MA, Rebecca D. Templeman of Cary, Paulette D. White of Cary, Susan H. Deaton of Cary and Laura D. Klauke of Cary. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
