He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Elizabeth Lowrey Chappell; and his brother Jimmy Chappell. He is survived by: his father Jeff Chappell; his wife Donna Bordeaux Chappell; his son Jack W. Chappell, Jr. of Cary; his siblings, Brett Chappell (Donna) of Fuquay-Varina and Linda Jones of Clayton; and his close friends, Bailey and Tataw. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
