He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lovic Young, Jr. and Lavenia Mae Sisco Young; his wife Janet Byrne Young; and his brothers, Dale Young and Jack Young.
He is survived by: his daughter Caroline Shepard Young of Cary; and his siblings, Bill Young of Knightdale and Kathy Eldridge Ross of Temple, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
