It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Marie Tolomay of Cary, North Carolina, born in Palmerton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sobota and Helen Behun Sobota; her brother John J. Sobota, Jr.; and her brother-in-law James E. Tolomay. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Tolomay; her children, Daniel Tolomay (Kimberly) of Durham, NC and Elizabeth "Betsey" Meyer (Jeffrey) of Graham, NC; her grandchildren, Bryce Meyer, Luca Meyer, Andrew Tolomay, Henry Tolomay, Leo Tolomay, Mia Barbetta and Marisa Meyer; and her sisters-in-law, Diane Tolomay of North Bend, PA and Susan Dauer of Salem, OR.

In lieu of customary remembrances, memorial contributions can be donated to the Lewy Body Dementia Association or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
