She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper N Wamsley and Mary Motley Wamsley; and her husband Herbert G. Powell. She is survived by: her children, Patricia Powell of Apex, NC, Herbert E. Powell (Mildred), Robert Powell (Marlene), William Powell of Cary, NC and John Powell (Patty); and her sister Inez Minetree of Orlean, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
