He was predeceased by: his parents, Onan Edward Gibson and Marjorie Jackson Gibson. He is survived by: his significant other Elaine C. Gibson; his children, Martha Anderson (Bryan) of Apex, NC and H. J. "Jay" Gibson, Jr. (Jill) of Apex, NC; his grandsons, Trey, Colby, Andrew, William and Jake; his sisters, Lois Hahn (Al), Carol Halldorson (Goose) and Martha Gibson (Skip); and his sister-in-law Sheri Carter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and their children.
