It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Garnett Monroe Kent (Cary, North Carolina), who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Kent and Lillie Culpepper Kent; and his siblings, Gladstone Kent (Sarah), Billie (Christine Kenit) and Bernice Kent (Walter).
He is survived by: his children, Donna Hayhow (Steve), Mark Kent (Kendra) and Erik Kent (Jessica); his grandchildren, Ashley Glaser (Tom), Kristen Hayhow, Alexis Kent and Nicholas Kent; and his great grandchild Travis Glaser.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Garnett's name may be made to The Parkinson's Foundation Carolinas Chapter, or the Diabetes Research Foundation.
