It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Cobb (Cary, North Carolina), born in Gibsonville, North Carolina, who passed away on August 1, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Chavis and Torrance Foust; her husband William Cobb; and her son William Gregory Cobb. She is survived by: her children, Karen LeCompte (Joe) of Greensboro, NC, Alisa Cobb of Cary, NC, Jeff Cobb of Greensboro, NC and Gary Cobb of Gibsonville, NC; her siblings, Blair Chavis (Rosemary) of Kernersville, NC and Montrose Mosely (Thomas) of Los Angeles, CA; her brother-in-law Eugene Pennix of Greensboro, NC; and her grandsons, Sheldon Coble, Adam Coble (Shelagh), Mathieu LeCompte (Bridgette) and Michael LeCompte. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and a very special friend, Carola Cobb, along with a host of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.
