She is survived by: her son Matthew Hancox (Shelley Scruggs Hancox) of Wake Forest, NC.; her grandchildren, Joseph Vassallo, Vincent Vassallo, Nicole Vassallo, Miles Hancox and Sadie Hancox; and her great grandchildren, Ava Vassallo, Joey Vassallo, Kaylee Vassallo and Rylie Vassallo.
