Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Edna Ruth leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis E. Goldbold, Sr. and Lola Beatrice Northcutt; and her husband Marcus M. Bowen. She is survived by: her daughter Melinda Bowen Taylor. She is also survived by her two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown Wynne Funeral Home (200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (608 Page St, Cary, NC 27511).
