He is survived by: his wife Pam Smith; his children, Douglas Smith (Ann) of Colorado, Dana Poole (George) of Tennessee, Dean Smith (Frank Garrett) of Winston-Salem and Darrin Smith of Cary; his grandchildren, Christie Schwarz (TJ) of Tennessee, Riley Poole of Tennessee, Evan Smith, Daniel Smith of Colorado and Colin Smith (Chloe) of Idaho; his great grandchildren, Harper and Tripp Schwarz of Tennessee; his daughter-in-law Joy Dioquino Smith of California; and his sister Sue Tribble of Georgia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
