She was predeceased by: her parents, William Smith and Della Smith; and her siblings, James Smith, Roy Lee Smith, Franklin Smith and Katherine Butner.
She is survived by: her husband Clyde Howard Mauney (Gus); her sons, Lee Mauney (Wanda) of Cary, Michael Mauney (Jana) of Apex and Ricky Mauney (Andrea) of Apex; and her grandson Marshall Shawn Mauney. She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
